Cals was wonderful. The setting, the view, the staff, and the food were all so fantastic.

We were docked at Roatan for a day on a Holland America cruise. We tend to go the opposite way of the throngs when the ship disgorges at a port-of-call. So, we rented a car, took a right and drove away from the main town and drove the length of the island. All I've heard are good things! We live in West Bay so it's quite a drive to get there. I've heard good things for a long time so when we were at the Mega Mall we decided to continue on and give it a try. The views are gorgeous! It's a very relaxed place where you have to read the menu and drink menu on the wall. The bartender and cool (it's an open kitchen) were very friendly and helpful. The fish tacos and sopapillas are amazing! Be sure to make any first time visitors take a giffity shot! We will definitely be back the next time we're on the East side!
